A crowd favorite, The Funsters will be performing tonight at 7:00 p.m. for the Lewes Summer Concert Series in Stango Park. This 10 piece band has been playing together for more than 20 years and always puts on a great show. They can play anything from Frank Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, to Al Green. The band is made up of lifelong friends who have played all over Delaware including UD, the Stone Balloon, and Bottle-n-Cork.
We anticipate a higher turnout for tonight’s concert so extra social distancing measures will be put in place including designated marked seating sections. Painted orange circles/squares will be throughout the park and attendees will be required to sit in a painted section to ensure families/parties are social distancing from others. Also included to ensure everyone is following social distancing guidelines for Outdoor Gatherings by the Governor, is that everyone must wear a mask when they are not in their seat. The City will have 2 portable toilets at the concert venue for concert patrons only and hand sanitizer will be provided. And a reminder that there is no indoor concert alternative if bad weather is likely.
