The City of Lewes is happy to bring a fun and energetic line up for the summer concert series in Stango Park for 2017. Every Tuesday evening from June 13 to August 29, there will be a free concert starting at 7:00 p.m. on the open air stage in Stango Park next to the Lewes library.
The first concert of the series is the Miss Delaware contestant showcase. This is a new partnership between the City and the Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization to help promote the Miss Delaware completion event at Cape Henlopen high school on June 16th. The showcase will include dancing, singing and other wonderful performances.
The 2017 summer concert series lineup continues with more favorites and new bands that cover a range of musical styles and genres including;

Concerts are free and provide a family friendly event with diverse music options. All are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and their dancing shoes. In case of inclement weather concerts will be moved to Cape Henlopen high school. This marks the fourteenth year (14th) of the Lewes summer concert series, which is managed and coordinated by volunteers and the Lewes Parks & Recreation commission. The concerts are supported by the City of Lewes, a grant from WSFS bank, and a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
