Overfalls Foundation Guest Speaker Event: Lighthouses of the Delaware Bay

Please join the Overfalls Foundation at the Lewes Public Library at 7pm as we host Bill Hicks, who will describe the pivotal role lighthouses once played (and sometimes still play) in guiding ships to the major ports, businesses, and homes of Delawareans for generations. Bill will address the importance of these silent sentinels scattered throughout the Delaware Bay and Delaware River. He will present in the historic garb of a 19th Century lighthouse keeper. Bill is the Historic Campus Coordinator and Lead Interpreter of the Lewes Historical Society.
Plan to arrive 15 minutes early so as not to interrupt the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.
