Opening March 1, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater presents The Taste of Things, a passionate romantic drama about two middle-aged people who are in long-term relationship. The film won Best Director at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
Esteemed cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) and her boss fine gourmet Dodin (Benoît Magimel) grow fond of one another over the course of 20 years. Their romance gives rise to dishes that impress even the world's most illustrious chefs. When Dodin is faced with Eugenie's reluctance to commit, he begins to cook for her. Screening times are 3 pm on Fri (Mar 1) and 5 pm on Sat (Mar 2).
