If the lure of the sea is calling, Lewes offers the most inveterate fisherman a wide variety of angling opportunities. Head boats routinely schedule trips out of Lewes Harbor in search of sea bass, flounder, trout, cod, mackerel, ling and other choice catches. Charter boat captains can satisfy your quest for the big game fish. Tuna, white marlin, shark and stripers are just some of the trophy fish lurking in the Atlantic waters. Most boats operate seasonally. A modern public boat ramp is open year round.
