"The Most Beautiful Race Course in Delaware": The Lewes Historical Society is proud to present the 14th Cannonball 5K Run & Trenny Elliott Memorial Walk in 2017 on Sunday, September 10. Online pre-registration is available via Seashore Striders. "Day of" registration begins at 7:30am on the race day. Beginning at 8:30am at The Lewes Historical Society Campus (110 Shipcarpenter Street), the race benefits the Society's preservation and educational programming.
The race is designed to be a tour of historic Lewes – the course includes breath-taking scenery along Pilottown Road, and views of the Great Marsh, Shipcarpenter Square, Second Street, and the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal. A description of the historic sites along the race route is included in your registration papers.
