2018 Summer Concert Series at Stango Park

The City of Lewes is excited to present twelve great bands for the summer concert series in Stango Park for 2018. Every Tuesday evening from June 12 to August 28, there will be a free concert starting at 7:00 p.m. on the open air stage in Stango Park next to the Lewes library.

There are a few changes to this year’s schedule. The first will be one date change for the performance during July 4th week.  The Delaware Army National Guard 287th Army Band will perform on Monday July 2nd instead of Tuesday July 3rd.  There will not be a Tuesday concert that week.  The second change is the rain location only for the U.S. Navy Band The Commodores on June 12th. If there is inclement weather on June 12th, The Commodores concert will be moved to the Bethel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 129 W. 4th St. Lewes.  The remainder of the concerts rain location will be in Cape Henlopen High School auditorium. The final change is that the final concert of the season, the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters performance will be held in the Cape Henlopen High School auditorium regardless of weather.

The 2018 summer concert series lineup is sponsored by the City of Lewes, WSFS Bank, and by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware art events on www.DelawareScene.com.
