Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes will hold ‘Barkin Beer’ Yappy Hour to benefit the Delaware SPCA on Thursday March 23rd, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm. Crooked Hammock will have live music, food and drink specials and will donate a portion of their proceeds from the day to the Delaware SPCA. Yarn & Bone of Rehoboth is providing great raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle will also be held. Well behaved leashed dogs are permitted in the large tented deck area.
“This is our first Yappy Hour at Crooked Hammock.” said Marcie Urgo, Public Relations and Event Manager for Sussex County’s Delaware SPCA shelter. “We held an event here last Christmas with great success. Our friends and supporters in this area absolutely love Yappy Hours! It’s a great way to enjoy time with your dog while supporting the only animal shelter in Sussex County.”
The Delaware SPCA is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which receives no state or county funding. They offer animal adoptions, low cost spay /neuter and wellness services, and rely on donations from the community to make their important work possible.
