CHEER's 9th Annual Car-Truck-Bike Show

The 9th Annual CHEER Car, Truck & Bike Show will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Warren L. & Charles C. Allen CHEER Community Center located at 20520 Sand Hill Road, east of Georgetown. Last year’s event had over 100 vehicles entered.  This year’s theme will be “Wheels for Meals.”

Last year, the CHEER Nutrition Program provided over 314,000 meals to over 4,500 seniors across Sussex County.  This event will raise money for CHEER’s “Cooking for Sussex Seniors” Capital Campaign to build and equip a new kitchen to provide healthy meals for senior citizens for decades to come.

CHEER is also featuring its famous CHEER Gourmet Champagne Brunch during the show featuring steamed shrimp, prime rib, vegetables, and breakfast foods. Tickets for the Brunch are $25. It is open to the public and tickets are available at the door or online at www.cheerde.com and click on Events.

Trophies will be awarded in several categories and the first 125 cars registered will receive Dash Plaques.  All entrees will receive goodie bags filled with items and information.  Anniversary ribbons will be given to any entry of a vehicle model made from 1968.

Cars will be exhibited from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy this free event.

Cost of car registration is $25 a vehicle or for $50, you can register your car and get two free Champagne Brunch tickets, a cost savings of $25.  Registration for vehicles is open until July 27th or you can be registered by going to www.cheerde.com and click on Events.  For more information, contact Florence Mason at 302-515-3045.
