"There are not enough words to describe how amazing the performance was from beginning to end. My attention was totally fixed on this fantastic gentleman. He actually became each character he played." (Audience comment from our June 2016 production.)
An art-loving performer, an art-hating Senator, and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever all clash in this funny, touching, and surprising story by Lee Blessing (A Walk in the Woods). When a grant recipient named Kerr becomes the central focus of a conservative politician's campaign to defund the arts, Kerr decides to make a protest piece. His subject? The politician's beloved four-legged sidekick. This one-man show is a tale with a tail, about art, passion, politics, friendship, faith, and humanity. Performed by Andrew Criss.
