Crooked Hammock Brewery, on Kings Highway, is hosting a Guest Bartender Night for Clear Space Theatre Company on Wednesday, April 17th from 5PM-8PM.   Members of Clear Space Theatre will be behind the bar acting as bartenders to earn tip donations throughout the evening.   Monies raised during the night will go towards the Arts Institute program at Clear Space Theatre.  Over 700 students have participated in the Arts Institute, many through scholarships made available with fundraisers like this one.

Musical performances from Clear Space Theatre (CST) actors, including songs from the summer repertory, will occur throughout the event.  Patrons will have an opportunity to participate in a drawing every half hour to win two tickets for a 2019 Clear Space Theatre show.

Guest bartenders competing for the most tips during their shift include: Wesley Paulson, CST Executive Director and Sydney Gray, CST Company Manager and Actor; Nancy Curry, CST Actor and Educator and Stephanie Whitcomb, CST Director of Development; Ryan Rainey, CST Board Member and Tony Hruza; Donna West, CST Board Vice-Chair and Judy Rayner, CST Producers Circle; Chris Berg, former CST Board Chair and Terry Kistler; and Jacob Waldron, CST Actor and Autumn Schneider, CST Actor.

Crooked Hammock is no stranger to the arts. Last year, Clear Space Theatre was the recipient for their “Beers for Broadway”- a three-month long community outreach program who works with different organizations every year. In 2018, their efforts raised over $7,000 to go back to the local theatre.

“We are very excited to work with Clear Space again, and help spread the word of the wonderful programs they have to offer to individuals well beyond the downtown Rehoboth area,” says Erica Wiegman, Marketing Manager of La Vida Hospitality - the local operating group of the popular family friendly brewery.  Crooked Hammock brewery is located at 36707 Crooked Hammock Way, Lewes DE 19958 and is open everyday from 11 am - 11 pm.
