The City of Lewes is happy to bring a fun and energetic line up for the summer concert series in Stango Park for 2017. Every Tuesday evening from June 13 to August 29, there will be a free concert starting at 7:00 p.m. on the open air stage in Stango Park next to the Lewes library.
The 19th annual Lewes Chautauqua event is the week of June 18th and the theme is “Service, Suffrage & Swing –WWI Era in DE”. The city is taking part by featuring WWI era music by the Delmarva Big Band on June 20th during the concert series.

Concerts are free and provide a family friendly event with diverse music options. All are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and their dancing shoes. In case of inclement weather concerts will be moved to Cape Henlopen high school. This marks the fourteenth year (14th) of the Lewes summer concert series, which is managed and coordinated by volunteers and the Lewes Parks & Recreation commission. The concerts are supported by the City of Lewes, a grant from WSFS bank, and a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
