DOGFISH DASH: Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022
The Dogfish Dash is an off-centered road race taking place in historic Milton that starts and ends at Dogfish Head. The approximate distance for the 2022 Dogfish Dash is 3.8 miles. (please note, final race course is pending appropriate agency approval, so distance could vary slightly). Course Route will be provided after final approval and in included in some future registered Runner emails. We are working with our longtime partner Seashore Striders for help in executing the event and accurate timingThe 2022 Dash not only has a new course, but it's supporting a new beneficiary also. This year, we'll not only be running for nature such as in years past, but we'll be running for the bays and benefitting the DE Center for the Inland Bays.
Registered runners will receive some sweet runner goodies to include a runner t-shirt, reusable shopping bag, reusable water bottle plus enjoy a post-run party with live music and some activities/information booths from this years beneficiary. Runners will receive two beverage tickets and some tasty post-run grub.
We will continue the tradition of the "Recycled Costume Contest", so if you create an outfit made out of recycled stuff, you'll be entered to win some sweet prizes.
More details will be communicated via Runner emails, but we will have two packets pick-ups prior to race day. More details to come, but here are the dates for planning.
