Fireside Forum: Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell Tale Heart"

Too often “classics” have become so associated with “assigned readings” that people have difficulty making contact.
Cruce Stark, Professor of English at University of Delaware, will show us that rather than being a “dusty classic,” the narrative is about our own lives. Poe’s fiction also confronts us with the way our own internal conflicts shape our perception of external “reality”.
