As a prelude to the upcoming Sō Percussion concert, our very own Maestro Roman Pawlowski and many of his professional musician friends are pulling out the stops in a performance by one of the largest assemblies of percussion instruments ever. Using a dazzling array of musical examples and dozens of percussion instruments, the program will demonstrate the almost infinite expressive possibilities of this medium, plus the sometimes surprising techniques employed by musicians.
Plan to stay for refreshments and an opportunity to speak with the performers and try out some of the instruments.
