Heirloom Executive Chef Matt Kern is the Chef at Market for this Saturday at 10 am. Chef Kern is sourcing the best seasonal, local ingredients for Heirloom’s menus, and for this demo he will be preparing a summer menu using his hand-picked selection of foods from the market. Chef Kern has received two nominations for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award. Look for the HLFM demo tents in the market for his presentation.

This Saturday the first local sweet corn of the season arrives at the market. There will also be cherries (both sweet and tart), peaches, blueberries, cherry tomatoes and slicer tomatoes, fresh garlic, Kirby cucumbers, radishes, new potatoes, Shishito, Poblano, and other peppers, chards, arugula, broccoli, lettuces, kale, mushrooms, micro greens, eggs, tilapia fish, crabs, oysters, beef, pork, chicken, honey, jams, beautiful fresh-baked breads, kombucha, pastries made with fruit from the growers at the market, hemp products, large summer flower bouquets, fresh-cut herbs (including basil for pesto), plants, and so much more.
