Sussex County Association of REALTORS® to present a Historic Preservation Symposium “Demystifying Historic Preservation: Information for Realtors, Developers, and Local Officials” 

The Sussex County Association of REALTORS ® is offering a fascinating, informative, and free event on Tuesday, November 22 starting at 10 AM on location at SCAOR’s headquarters located at 23407 Park Ave in Georgetown, Delaware.

The Historic Preservation Symposium “Demystifying Historic Preservation: Information for Realtors, Developers, and Local Officials” will promote the benefits of preserving historic places, provide guidance on where to find information about historic properties, programs that you can share with clients and constituents, and provide examples of how preserving historic properties can work and benefit both you and the community!

An expert panel of specialists in Historic Preservation will be speaking during the event to answer moderator and attendee questions and offer suggestions. Plus, representatives from municipalities throughout Sussex County will also be able to learn more about state and federal funds that are currently available and earmarked for creating a historic preservation zone within their communities.

SCAOR’s Historic Preservation Symposium “Demystifying Historic Preservation: Information for Realtors, Developers, and Local Officials” is free to the public and lunch will be served.
