Explore the dramatic story and iconic work of the world’s most beloved artist, Vincent Van Gogh. With exclusive original research revealing incredible new discoveries, the Van Gogh Museum has helped craft a cinema experience like no other and a fresh and gripping biography. Enjoy complete and unprecedented access to the treasures of the museum which includes a major re-showing of the gallery’s collection and a celebration of the recent 125th anniversary of Van Gogh’s death. The director, David Bickerstaff says, “What this film can do is give people time to actually sit with the works, to digest information, to go on a bit of a journey into lesser-known parts of his life – I think there are a lot of surprises. The cinema will immerse you.” [2015, UD, Runtime: 90 minutes, NR]

This screening is being sponsored by Peninsula Gallery in Lewes. The Peninsula Gallery specializes in original art by some of the area’s finest local artists.
