Lightship Overfalls Birthday Party

On Thursday June 15th (weather permitting) The Lightship will celebrate her 79th birthday as an icon to the maritime history of the Lewes waterways. Our Lightship Overfalls is one of the best preserved of the remaining few lightships now available as museums.

The celebration will be held on the ship grounds beginning at 6pm. There will be cake, 2 dips ice cream, snacks, libations and other beverages and music. We invite all our friends to join us for a fun evening.  There is no charge.  However we hope that guests will consider bringing a birthday card with a “gift” (donation) to support the continued preservation of our Lightship and our museum programs.
