THE NEST
Opening at the Cinema Art Theater

Starting on September 18, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “The Nest,” a stunning drama about a family whose lives take a twisted turn after they move to a new country.

Rory (played by Jude Law), an ambitious entrepreneur and former commodities broker, persuades his American wife, Allison (played by Carrie Coon), and their children to leave the comforts of suburban America and return to his native England during the 1980s. Sensing opportunity, Rory rejoins his former firm and leases a centuries-old country manor, with grounds for Allison’s horses and plans to build a stable. Soon, as the promise of a lucrative new beginning starts to unravel, the couple have to face the unwelcome truths lying beneath the surface of their marriage. [2020, UK/Canada, 107 min, Rated: NR].
Brian Tallerico of “RogerEbert.com” pens “Director-Writer Sean Durkin's script gives Coon and Law the best characters of their careers and both actors completely deliver.” Jordan Rulmy of “World of Reel” says, "An artfully rendered take about the disintegration of a privileged family.”

Screening times are 3 pm on Fri (Sep 18), 3 & 6 pm on Sat (Sep 19), 3 pm on Sun (Sep 20), 2 pm on Wed (Sep 23) and 5 pm on Thu (Sep 24). Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online at www.rehobothfilm.com. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
