RBFS presents MARK FELT-THE MAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE

October 20th, 2017 - 4:00 pm

Starting on October 20th the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present MARK FELT-THE MAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE, a suspenseful, historical drama.

MARK FELT-THE MAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE, starring Liam Neeson and Diane Lane, centers on “Deep Throat”, the pseudonym given to the notorious whistleblower for one of the greatest scandals of all time, Watergate. The true identity of the secret informant remained a mystery and source of much public curiosity and speculation for more than 30 years. That is until, in 2005, special agent Mark Felt shockingly revealed himself as the tipster. This unbelievable true story chronicles the personal and professional life of the brilliant and uncompromising Felt, who risked and ultimately sacrificed everything – his family, his career, his freedom – in the name of justice. [2017, USA, Runtime: 103 min, Rated: PG]

James Verniere of the “Boston Herald” claims Liam Neeson should be Oscar contender for this. Film could not be more relevant.”

Screening times are 4:00 pm on Friday (Oct 20), 7:00 pm on Saturday (Oct 21), 4:00 pm on Monday (Oct 23), 1:00 pm on Wednesday (Oct 25), and 7:00 pm on Thursday (Oct 26). Tickets can be purchased at the Cinema Art Theater, starting 30 minutes prior to each screening. Admission for a screening is $8 for RBFS members and $10 for future members.
