RBG Opening at the Cinema Art Theater

May 25th, 2018 - 4:00 pm
RBG OPENING AT THE CINEMA ART THEATER

Starting on May 25th, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present RBG, an inspiring documentary about the trail-blazing life of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

At the age of 85, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a lengthy legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But the unique personal journey of her rise to the nation's highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG explores Ginsburg's life and career. [2018, US, Runtime: 97 minutes, Rated: PG].

"An unforgettable film. No matter your political leanings, RBG tells a heartwarming tale of determination, resilience, and in the spotlight is the most unlikely rock star," writes Zachary Kaplan of “Parade”. Robert Sullivan of “Vogue” adds, “What's surprising to a casual follower of the judicial branch is that you'll be reaching not for your legal pad while watching the film, but the tissues, given that what actually underpins RBG is a love story.”

Screening times are 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Friday (May 25), 4:00 pm on Saturday (May 26), 4:00 pm on Sunday (May 27), 1:00 pm on Monday (May 28), 4:00 pm on Wednesday (May 30) and 7:00 pm on Thursday (May 31). Admission for CAT: THIS WEEK films is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater, starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
