Rehoboth Beach Film Society Continues Theater Content Series

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society continues its exciting new theatrical experience series. Through a partnership with online theater streaming service, BroadwayHD, select theater content from the brand’s video on-demand library is now available at the Cinema Art Theater. The next performance in the series is the Tony Award® winning musical, SHE LOVES ME.

SHE LOVES ME is presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Ellen M. Krass Productions, Inc. The musical follows Amalia and Georg, two parfumerie clerks who aren’t quite the best of friends. Constantly bumping heads while on the job, the sparring coworkers can’t seem to find common ground. But little do they know the anonymous pen pals they have both been falling for happen to be each other! Will love continue to blossom once their identities are finally revealed?

Directed by Scott Ellis, the production’s astounding cast includes Laura Benanti, Zachary Levi, Gavin Creel, Byron Jennings, Tom McGowan and Jane Krakowski. This enchanting, groundbreaking presentation of the critically acclaimed musical has a terrific story and memorable songs that turn this revival into a celebration.

“The New York Times” says, “Sumptuous. Rapturous. Transcendent” and “The Wall Street Journal” proclaims, “Pure delight. The most romantic of all Broadway musicals.” (Runtime 2 hr, 13 min).

Screenings will be on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 30th at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 31st at 7:00 p.m. at the Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Drive in Dartmouth Plaza (behind the Lewes Wawa). Admission is $18 for RBFS members, $20 general admission and $15 for ages 16 and under. Online reservations (www.rehobothfilm.com) are encouraged and may be made with MasterCard or VISA.

The mission of the RBFS is promoting cinematic arts and providing education and cultural enrichment for our community.
