SBA Featured during Sussex County is Open for Business

SBA’S JIM PROVO GUEST SPEAKER AT SUSSEX OPEN FOR BUSINESS OCTOBER 16

Jim Provo, Economic Development/Veteran Business Development Officer for the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Delaware office, will be the guest speaker at Sussex County is Open for Business, Wednesday, October 16, 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Student Services Center at Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown.

Mr. Provo will focus on how the SBA can assist Delaware businesses.  The SBA assists business owners and entrepreneurs in their pursuit of the American dream:  Owning a business.  The SBA is dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital and contracting expertise, and is the nation’s go-to resource and voice for small businesses.

In addition, attendees can share their ideas for starting a business as well as meet with a number of resource providers including the Small Business Development Center, Division of Small Business, SCORE, USDA, Southern Delaware Tourism and several others.  The event is free of charge, open to entrepreneurs interested in starting a business, and no pre-registration is needed.
