Step Back in Time with Tavern Talks
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to be a part of the war for independence? Now you can find out by taking part in the debate yourself at the Lewes Historical Society’s Tavern Talks.
Step back in time and be immersed inside the setting of the 350 year old Ryves Holt House, the oldest structure in Delaware, transformed into Captain Gamble’s Tavern. It will feature living history characters, colonial games and snacks, and Dogfish Head Craft Beers.
The Lewes Historical Society will host “Tavern Talks”, an immersive tavern experience at the Ryves Holt House (218 Mulberry Street, Lewes) April 27th. By reservation only. More information at historiclewes.org/events.
Tavern Talks will be April 27, at 5:30 and 7:30pm. Seating is limited to 16 persons per event time and reservations are required. To make reservations, please visit: bit.ly/tavernticket.
