The 7th Annual Lewes Public Library Community Carnival

The Lewes Public Library will hold its 7th Annual Old Fashioned Community Carnival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, on its back lawn at 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.
With games, performances, food and fun for the entire family, the free event is open to all and will feature carnival games and prizes, face painting, a balloon twister, dance and music performances, crafts and activities.
Performances include Nancy Curry from Makin’ Music Delaware, the McAleer-Paulson School of Irish Dance and a bucket drumming demonstration. Food trucks will be on site with refreshments for purchase.
“We are so excited to bring the community carnival back on Oct. 1 after a two-year hiatus,” said Jennifer Noonan, Lewes Public Library children’s librarian. “Thanks to our many community partners, sponsors, and volunteers, we are looking forward to a festive day of games, activities and old-fashioned family fun.”
