Coast Day will be virtual for 2020!
To share the latest coastal science while protecting our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be hosting Coast Day 2020 as a virtual event.
Some of your annual favorites will transition online fairly easily, such as Focus on the Coast lectures. Others will continue in a modified way. Seafood cooking demonstrations, for instance, may turn into prerecorded videos demonstrating a recipe followed by a question-and-answer session on Coast Day.
There will be opportunities to engage with presenters and fellow Coast Day fans over social media and possibly activities to do at home. And a new online format will bring new opportunities as well, from new ways to find what you want to the potential to reach more people from more places.
