NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS
A Special Event at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes
In celebration of Women’s History Month

On March 26, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, partnering with Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware, in celebration of Women’s History Month will present a special screening of Never Rarely Sometimes Always, an enlightening drama about two friends and the difficult road trip they embark upon.

Faced with an unintended pregnancy and a lack of local support, Autumn and her cousin, Skylar, travel across state lines to New York City on a fraught journey of friendship, bravery and compassion. [2020, US, 101 min, Rated: PG-13]

Dwight Brown of the National Newspaper Publishers Association, writes, ‘An enlightening script, expert ensemble acting and the most revealing film ever made about a young woman's right to choose.” Mark Kermode of “The Observer” says, “ Perfectly pitched and sensitively played, this is a truthful, powerful and profoundly moving fare from a film-maker at the very top of her game” and added the film “is perhaps best described as a perfectly observed portrait of female friendship; a coming-of-age story with road-movie inflections, piercingly honest and deeply affecting.”

A post-film discussion will immediately follow the screening. The Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware has assembled a panel of women health professionals and family law experts to create an open dialogue between parents/trusted adults and adolescents.  The discussion will be led by Angela Caswell-Monack, Cait Spieker-Gee, Ashley Bickel, Mary Vaughn and Annie Caswell.

The Special screening time is 3 pm on Sunday (March 26) and admission is $5. Purchase advance tickets online at rehobothfilm.com or at the Cinema Art Theater box office in Lewes beginning 30 minutes prior to the screening.

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) promotes the art of cinema through education and cultural enrichment programming.
