The 5k Run will race 2.2 miles on a harden surface through the historic Fort Miles Barracks before turning onto the beach to honor our Middle East Veterans who work, walk, and run in the desert sands every day. After a half mile of beach, you will head towards the finish line. As you contemplate the challenge of racing in the sand, remember the deployed women and men working in the sand every day. EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A FREE RAFFLE TICKET FOR A CHANCE TO WIN GREAT PRIZES AT THE EVENT AND FREE CONCERT. IN 2024 YOU WILL NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN.
