The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau sponsors its 27th annual Lewes Garden Tour on Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The number of gardens on the tour varies annually from 8-10 private gardens. The gardens are selected by the event committee chair with assistance from other members of the committee.
In addition to touring the gardens, the event includes a Garden Market where more than 40 vendors are located, selling garden related items during the hours of the tour (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.); Cape Artists will be in the tour gardens painting and tour-goers can enjoy beverages and lunch provided by Café Amici in the Refreshment tent in Zwaanendael Park. During the hours of the tour, free shuttle service is available for ticket holders. Chamber members Lewes Senior Center, Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty and the Jolly Trolley will provide the shuttle services.
