Fun With Flags
The Overfalls will be holding a special Children's program titled "FUN WITH FLAGS" on Wednesday morning June 19 from 9am-12pm. This is an activity filled program for children ages 8-12 which will help young people know first-hand about the life of a Coast Guard Lightship Sailor, including a tour of the lightship, and a fun take home plaque featuring signal flags. A sample of a similar, larger plaque is pictured here.
The program will be held in 2 sessions from 9-10:30 and 10:30 -12. Cost is $5 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is suggested as class size is limited to 10 students per session. For information call 302-379-0072 or visit www.overfalls.org.
