The Rehoboth Beach Film Society will present two of this year’s Academy® Award nominees for Best Documentary (Short Subject) on Sunday, February 12, 2:00 pm at Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Drive, #2, Dartmouth Plaza (behind the Lewes Wawa). Doors open at 1:30 pm.

Watani: My Homeland
After her husband is captured by ISIS, a desperate mother flees to Germany with her four young children. Filmed over three years, the film chronicles their struggles as they try to adapt to a new life in a foreign country. [2016, UK, Runtime: 40 minutes, Not Rated]
The White Helmets
In the chaos of war-torn Syria, airstrikes pound civilian targets unmercifully. Unarmed and neutral civilian volunteers known as "The White Helmets" risk their lives to rescue survivors from the rubble.
