Join Katy, the owner of Lewes Lettering Co. for a fun night learning the basics of Faux-Calligraphy at Liquid Surf Shop in Rehoboth, DE! Learn a new skill perfect for irregular surfaces like chalkboards, canvas, pumpkins and large signs! Faux-Calligraphy is done with pens, not a nib and ink but gives similar results without all the fuss. You will receive instruction, all supplies and an alphabet exemplar--all yours to keep. After the instruction, Katy will guide us in completing our own personalized 8x10 canvas. Bring your favorite 2-6 word quote for this project!
The workshop will take place on the 2nd floor lounge in Liquid Surf Shop and is BYOB with small nibbles available! If hunger's got ya, fear not, Taco Reho is on site and they have the best tacos in town! Women's clothing will be on sale for this night only -- let's get ready for beach season!
Then, join us afterwards at the Surf Cantina for a cocktail (or 2). Let's tap into Faux-Calligraphy!
