The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau sponsors its 29th annual Lewes Garden Tour on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are nine private gardens on the tour this year. Tickets will be available for sale on Friday, May 24 and will include a description of each garden. The gardens are selected by the event committee chair with assistance from other members of the committee. In addition to touring the gardens, the event includes a Garden Market where more than 30 vendors are located, selling garden related items during the hours of the tour (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.). A number of the members of the Cape Artists will be painting in the gardens and artists Fred Dylla and Steve Rogers will be painting in their own gardens that are included on the tour. Tour-goers can enjoy beverages and lunch provided by Full Belly Bistro in the Refreshment tent in Zwaanendael Park. During the hours of the tour, free shuttle service is available for ticket holders. Chamber members Lewes Senior Center, Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty and the Jolly Trolley will provide the shuttle services.
