SAVE THE DATE! Rehoboth Beach Film Society's 25th Anniversary of the Independent Film Festival

SAVE THE DATE! REHOBOTH BEACH FILM SOCIETY PRESENTS 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF REHOBOTH BEACH INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL

The award-winning Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival (RBIFF) is confirmed for November 8 - 12, 2023. Launched in 1998, the Festival has evolved into one of the favorite cultural gatherings here in the Mid-Atlantic region.

This year, The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival’s focus centers around its 25th Silver Screen Anniversary featuring five days of films hosted at the Society’s Cinema Art Theater in Lewes. Film selection will focus on 22 - 24 first-run documentaries, features, international films, and shorts. Patrons can expect a diverse range of film genres and insightful topics that truly highlight the cinema art form.

“To commemorate the Festival’s staying power, the 25th Silver Screen Anniversary will provide attendees with a look back to the origins of the RBIFF with several founding members and what lies ahead on the horizon for the next 25 years,” said the Society’s Executive Director, Helen M. Chamberlin.

In addition to the founders, we will feature a film related to a local business and other organizations that were instrumental in the Society’s 1998 launch which let to the formation of the nonprofit, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS). We’re thrilled to be able to continue to produce the annual Festival confab for the next 25 years! Expect fabulous Indie films, mix and mingle events and insights from featured filmmakers.

Whether a general audience attendee or you prefer the VIP Experience you can select individual screening or purchase all access passes. We cannot think of a better gathering this November, so mark your calendar for the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival’s 25th Silver Screen Anniversary event of the Season. Tickets and VIP passes will go on-sale in early-Fall. Be sure to sign-up at www.rehobothfilm.com to receive the Society’s weekly news and Festival updates.

The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival’s artist submission contest continues through July 31. On August 5, the Society will announce the final selected artwork and artist which will become the official Festival Program cover (circulation 36,000) and Festival merch.
