LINOLEUM Opening at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes
Opening March 3, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater presents Linoleum, a science fiction comedy-drama about a 54-year-old sad sack whose life takes a grander direction.
Cameron Edwin (Jim Gaffigan), the host of a failing TV science show for children, has always had aspirations of being an astronaut. When a mysterious satellite coincidentally falls from space and lands in his backyard, his midlife crisis manifests into a plan to rebuild the machine into a rocket. As surreal events start to unfold around him, Edwin slowly realizes that there's more to his life story than he once thought. [2022, US, 101 min, Rating: NR]
Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicageo.com pens, “Intriguingly philosophical, with a breakout performance by Jim Gaffigan & stellar supporting roles. Writer/director Colin West weaves a thoughtful & necessary meditation on the ways that life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. Floored!
